Cambridge, England, 16th December 2006, a developer of VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) equipment targeted at the residential and the SME sector, has been named Highest Achieving Investee Company 2006 by GEIF, the Cambridge-based business angels network.

This award recognises Camrivox as the highest achieving company of those that raised capital from GEIF angels over the last year. GEIF Ventures, an NW Brown Group managed £5 million seed fund co-investing with GEIF, has also invested in Camrivox as part of the 2006 investment round.

Marcus Johnson, Chief Executive of NW Brown & Company Ltd, said, "Voice over internet is one of the most interesting developments around today and Camrivox is opening the door to the mass market. I expect our investors to enjoy the success of this company."
